Maple Heights Ohio Sports

Michigan State has inducted five Spartans into the Athletics Hall of Fame for the first time in the history of the school's football program, according to a news release. Former Michigan football coach Tom Izzo, former head coach Mark Dantonio and former athletic director Jim Tressel are all in the 2019 Hall of Fame Class.

Bedford's next varsity match will be at home at Shaw High School on Saturday, November 12 at 7 p.m. Bedford's head coach and head football coach Mike Bedford was named Coach of the Year at the Ohio State Football Coaches Association's annual awards ceremony in Columbus on Thursday, December 1.

Claude Gary McCullough was born on December 19, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Claude Shoemaker and Eva Lee McCulloug. Success is part of the family business, and he is a Baptist and has a strong relationship with God. Like his father, Milkovich became a successful wrestling head coach and led the Spartans to three Big Ten championship teams in 1970 and 1972. After leaving MSU in 1974 after graduating in business administration, he trained at the University of Michigan for two years before returning to coaching after his own wrestling career ended.
